Conclusion:

We documented prior to the All-Star Break that the Yankees and Astros were the only teams with 57-wins, and were likely destined for the ALCS.  World Series = 57

If Astros close out today, that's what we'll have.  A lot more lines up fo them, the biggest concern that could lead to a Rays upset is Hinch picking up his 17th postseason loss and the Rays picking up their 17th postseason win on the 59 date num., and the Astros staying on 17 home wins vs the Rays all-time.  *ALSO, the Rays are the 17th team to force a Game 5 after being down 0-2 in a series.

ALCS Note:

The ALCS begins October 12, the day leaving 80-days left in the year.  Yankees = 80
-Yankees were 12-7 vs Rays in 2019
-Yankees were 3-4 vs Astros in 2019
*Houston = 112 (Start date 10/12)

*Yankees are 0-0 vs TB in postseason
*Yankees are 3-5 vs Astros in postseason

*Recall, Yankees finished off Twins with a score of 5-1; Houston Astros = 51
-If Rays upset Astros, they would be 5-1 in elimination games

*Yankees last played Astros, June 23, 111-days (112) before start of ALCS Oct. 12
---June 23 leaves 191-days in the year (New York Yankees = 191)
-New York = 111
-Houston = 112

*Yankees last played Rays, September 25, 17-days (18) before start of ALCS, Oct 12.
-Read about 17s above
-Baseball = 18
